Each year, there are new developments in how the Model Rules have been implicated or interpreted. This year we will cover the following topics: • Credibility • Technology, AI, & the Legal Profession • Oversight of Lawyers and Nonlawyers in the Firm • Witness Preparation • Represented Nonlawyer Client Communications This 30-minute free legal CLE will ensure attorneys are up to date on how these topics have recently been addressed by courts and bar associations. We will cover the following rules: 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 3.3, 3.4, 4.2, 4.4, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, and 8.4. We will also discuss ABA Formal Opinion 506, ABA Formal Opinion 508, DC Bar Legal Ethics Committee Opinion 385, Mata v. Avianca, and In re Claridge.
