Hi, I’m Rachel — founder of CLEcast, attorney, professor, and someone who believes that giving back to communities is an important part of business.

I’ve been practicing law since 2009. My career started in criminal prosecution, first at a local district attorney’s office and then at the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Today, I am still a public servant but in civil litigation. I also taught constitutional law at the University of Oregon School of Law — my alma mater.

The idea for CLEcast came while I was running the nonprofit I founded in 2016. I quickly learned how challenging fundraising can be. A friend mentioned that CLEs are a great way to generate support, and that sparked an idea: a CLE company that supports community nonprofits.

At CLEcast, we create high-quality, accredited CLE videos and split our net profits with partner nonprofits. It’s a win-win: attorneys get affordable, easy-to-access CLEs, and nonprofits get a sustainable funding stream.​
